DCR Chamber has a new look!

Local Issue - Robert Street in West Saint Paul
Your Chamber is engaged in discussions regarding the Robert Street Transitway Alternatives Study as well as the local improvement plan proposed by the City of West St. Paul.  Final decisions for this important business corridor will be made in the coming months and we need your input. 
 
The Robert Street Coalition is being formed.  Impacted and interested businesses should contact Vicki Stute and for further information on the project go to http://www.robertstreettransit.com.



2014 State Policies

DCR Chamber is working on your behalf to ensure your business interests are represented at the Capitol during this upcoming legislative session.  Several priorities have been identified and approved by your Board of Directors; focusing our efforts to ensure the Dakota County region remains a competitive place in which to do business.  To date, they include:

  • Waste Management

  • Minimum Wage - Forthcoming

  • Transportation - Forthcoming

Need for Career-Ready Students Drives Scholarship Opportunity
At this year's DCR Chamber WomEn's Conference, the Non-Profit Partner will be the DCR Charitable Foundation.  Funds raised will be used to give four - $500 scholarships to deserving female students attending high school in the Dakota County Region. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must currently attend a local high school in Districts 191, 192, 196, and 197; graduate in June 2014; and committed to full-time attendance at a post-secondary institution. The application deadline is February 14, 2014.

Mayor Sandra Krebsbach presented the success of the past year and goals for the future of the community at the 2014 Mendota Heights State of the City Address.  Missed the event?  You can watch it online here.
