Looks like spring has finally sprung!

We hope you all have had a chance to get out and enjoy some of this warmer weather! I know we sure will!
 
Warm weather also means, spring sports season. We ask that everyone be aware that classes are now working on recital performance pieces, so it is very important that dancers are present in class.
 
We suggest that you alternate or come a few minutes late or leave a few minutes early. We believe any time in class is better than no time!

Everything You Need to Know...

 


About 6-8 weeks ago everyone was sent a recital handbook via USPS - this can now also be accessed on our website if you have misplaced it. If your homes are as busy as ours we are sure you may have put it aside until needed. We ask that you take a minute and review important information about deadlines (they are conveniently located on the front of the Handbook). At this time we are also going to ask you to take a moment to look over both the Picture Day Schedule and Dress Rehearsal Schedule and send us an email of any conflicts (i.e. your dancer has no numbers in between to change). This will be very helpful to us as we work to finalize all plans. In the next couple of weeks we will also be posting show performance orders as always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
  
*****in light of the fact that schools are getting out later than anticipated we ask that you pay special attention to dress rehearsal times as you may need to make arrangements.
Costume Balances
Available on Your Online Accounts

 

Costume balances have now been posted to most accounts.  If your account has a costume balance it is due by April 20.  There are some classes in which costumes are being made or still to be purchased.  These balances will be posted at a later date.
  
Please note that no costumes will be sent home if you have a balance on your account.  Costume pick up will be during the week of May 12-17 (there may be some costumes that have not arrived at that point).  No costumes will be sent home if you have a balance on your account. Costumes must be picked up on the day of class as we organize them as such.  Note: your last tuition payment is due on May 1-there is not a June tuition payment.

Make-A-Wish Benefit Performance

 

Once again MHDC is so proud of our dancers who participated in the annual Make-A-Wish benefit "Open Your Hearts".  MHDC is truly a great dance family and with your efforts we will be donating $7000.  Thank you to everyone as well as our friends from Allegro Academy of Dance and the Pay it Forward club from LHS for lending us their extra hands!

We are looking forward to our annual Summer Dance Intensive: now called Northeast Summer Dance Intensive. The intensive will run August 11th-15th and is open to any Intermediate or Advanced dancer.

 

We will be here all summer with Zumba as well!
