Key Strategies for SSI/SSDI
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) can provide an important source of income for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and have a mental illness, medical condition, and/or a co-occurring substance use disorder.
For more information on these strategies, plan to attend the Key Strategies for Connecting People Experiencing Homelessness to SSI/SSDI Benefits Webinar on Thursday, May 19, 2016, from 1-2 p.m. ET.
During this Webinar, speakers from SSA, SAMHSA, VA, Policy Research Associates Inc, SOAR TA Center, and USICH, will present a set of strategies for connecting people experiencing homelessness to SSI and SSDI benefits by improving practices and collaboration among SSA field offices, VA Medical Center staff, organizations, and agencies that provide services to people experiencing homelessness, and other community-based partners.
