2016 ESG Capacity Scorecard Deadline

As a reminder, applicants must submit the Capacity Scorecard on the Universal Funding Application (UFA) no later than Friday, May 6, 2016, at 5 p.m. ET.  

 

Applicants must first complete and submit the Capacity Scorecard and Fair Housing sections of the application. Applications that score below 60 percent on the Capacity Scorecard and/or do not address the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing will not be reviewed.

 

The 2016 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Application Guidelines and Application Score Sheet are now available on KHC's website, under Specialized Housing, Emergency Solutions Grant, ESG Resources.

Save the Date!

The Kentucky Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) will conduct a series of regional CoC meetings in May and June of 2016. All are welcome, and we encourage you to bring new stakeholders into the homeless assistance planning process. 

 

The agenda for these meetings will be included in future eGrams. All CoC and ESG funded agencies must send at least one representative to one of the meetings listed below:

Call for Entries!

Registration for the 2016 Kentucky Affordable Housing Conference (KAHC) will open soon, but in the meantime, prepare your award entries! KHC Annual Housing Awards recognize innovative techniques and solutions that meet the affordable housing needs of Kentuckians. All housing partners who do business with Kentucky Housing Corporation are eligible to enter the KHC Annual Housing Awards in four award categories:

  • Innovative Solutions: Homeless--This award is presented to an organization providing innovative strategies and solutions to end homelessness in Kentucky.
  • Innovative Solutions: Energy Efficiency--This award is presented to an organization providing innovative strategies to improve energy efficiency in Kentucky homes.
  • Innovative Solutions: Housing Preservation--This award is presented to a home building organization providing innovative strategies for the preservation of affordable housing.
  • Innovative Solutions: Affordable Housing--This award is presented to an organization providing innovative affordable housing solutions.

Entries will be judged on planning/content, innovation, technical excellence, and results. Programs, projects, or practices must be operational by June 30, 2016. Improvements in existing programs, projects, or practices are eligible. Partners may not submit the same entry to multiple categories.

 

All entries must be received electronically by Monday, August 8, 2016, at conference@kyhousing.org. Award winners will be invited to share more information about innovative, award-winning initiatives at the 2016 KAHC so others can learn how to replicate their winning ideas.
