Multifamily Programs Funding Announcements

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) is pleased to announce the funding awards for the Fiscal Year 2016 application round competing for 2016 program resources. KHC received 48 applications requesting in excess of $23 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits (Housing Credits), and was able to fund 25 projects with $10,231,224 of 2016 Housing Credits in conjunction with other KHC resources, including funds from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) totaling $2,624,250.  

Also, KHC received three applications requesting over $1 million in non-credit resources and was able to fund two projects with $750,250 of KHC's resources.

This funding round supports the creation or preservation of 1,152 units of affordable rental housing in 24 counties in Kentucky. A listing of awards is available on KHC's website, under Development, Multifamily, 2016 Multifamily Funding Report.
