Funds Still Available!
Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) still has over $2 million in special funding available at 2.00 percent fixed interest rate for 30 years! The Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) Special Funding Program is available on a first-come, first-served basis with new reservations only. The MRB Special Funding Program flier is available on KHC's website, under Lenders, Marketing Tools.
KHC Program Guides
The MRB and SMP KHC Program Guides have been updated. All KHC Program Guides are available on KHC's website, under Lenders.
Underwriting Tips
Often, underwriting files are pended for additional conditions. Below is a list of tips when uploading an underwriting file to KHC:
  • Follow the Underwriting Checklist.
  • When tax returns are required, only provide federal tax returns.
  • Only include most recent AUS Findings.
  • With FHA loans the Final unsigned HUD Addendum 92900-A to URLA is required.
  • With pend conditions upload all items requested.
Industry Updates
Several policy changes, technical updates, and additions have been made to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Single-Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1. For more details, please review the handbook on HUD's website.
