The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission is proud to be celebrating Fair Housing Month by hosting a Fair Housing Luncheon on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Carrick House in Lexington.

The keynote speaker will be George D. Williams, Sr., Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Policy, Legislative Initiatives and Outreach, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity. This Office is responsible for the formulation and communication of all Departmental fair housing and civil rights policy to the public, the press, Congress, and executive branch agencies. His Office has the major responsibility for oversight of the implementation of the HUD's Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Initiative.
