VI-SPDAT Training Registration Now Open

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) will host a free, full-day Vulnerability Index and Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT) training on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.

The training is intended for the Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC), but our partners from Lexington and Louisville are welcome to attend as well. Registration is required.

VI-SPDAT Training

March 9, 2016

9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

200 Mero Street, Frankfort

Katie Raines from OrgCode Consulting will spend the morning session training on the VI-SPDAT Version 2. The afternoon session will focus on the full SPDAT.

As of January 2016, all BoS CoC and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)-funded emergency shelters are required to use the VI-SPDAT. This training will help front-line workers effectively conduct and use the VI-SPDAT and will help others such as program and agency directors learn more about the tool and its role in the BoS Coordinated Entry System. Though emergency shelters are the only agencies currently required to use this tool, all program types are encouraged to attend.
