2016 K-Count
The 2016 K-Count is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2016. The Count will begin at sunrise on the Wednesday and conclude at sunrise on Thursday. The 2016 K-Count will consist of a sheltered count (emergency shelters and transitional housing programs) and an unsheltered count of individuals and families sleeping in places not meant for human habitation on the night of January 27. Survey forms and other training materials are available on KHC's website, under Specialized Housing, K-Count, including:
Attention CoC- and ESG-funded emergency shelters: Please remember, a VI-SPDAT must be completed for each individual sleeping in your shelter on the night of January 27 if a VI-SPDAT has not already been completed. Specific instructions are included in the K-Count FAQs document, as well as on the HCA Help Desk under Coordinated Entry.
Please note: All K-Count data must be entered into the KYHMIS or submitted through the online survey tool by Friday, February 5, 2016.

2016 Housing Inventory Count
The Housing Inventory Count (HIC) includes the following programs: Emergency Shelters, Transitional Housing Programs, Permanent Housing (PH), and Rapid Rehousing (RRH). All emergency shelters and transitional housing programs participating in the K-Count must also submit information for the HIC. While PH and RRH Programs are not included in the K-Count, these programs must provide information for the HIC, including the number of people residing in the PH and RRH Programs on the night of January 27. The HIC forms and instructions will be available on Wednesday, January 27, on KHC's website, under Specialized Housing, K-Count.
All HIC forms must be submitted by Friday, February 5, 2016.

KYHMIS Training
KHC has scheduled a KYHMIS training Tuesday, February 2, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. ET, in KHC's computer training room in the west annex, located at 1231 Louisville Road, Frankfort. Seating is limited and available to registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. To attend a KYHMIS training session, users must submit a Training Request Form no later than three days prior to the session to ensure space is available.
