HHF DAP
On Friday, December 4, KHC will announce a new Hardest Hit Fund (HHF) Down payment Assistance Program (DAP) for 2016, targeting new home buyers in Christian, Hardin, Jefferson, or Kenton counties.  KHC looks forward to ringing in the New Year with something special!
Interest Rates, TPO Closings, and Purchases
Locking of interest rates, TPO closings, and loan purchases will not take place while KHC offices are closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, November 26-27.
TPO Lender Closings
Congratulations to Debbie McCormick with American Bank & Trust Company, KHC's first Third Party Originator (TPO) closing. The approved closing agent, Reynolds, Johnston, Hinton & Pepper, smoothed the process and ensured everything occurred well within the 45-day lock period.

For TPOs that have not closed a loan with the new KHC process, please review the TPO Lender Workflow PowerPoint on KHC's website, under Lenders, Lender Resources, TRID tab.

With the new TRID timelines, it is imperative that enough time is allotted to review, prepare, and mail out the closing disclosure to the borrower. A pre-closing form for TPO lenders has also been posted to KHC's Lender Resources page, under the Third Party Originator (TPO) tab. This form details what KHC is reviewing prior to the closing. TPO lenders should use this tool to review all the pre-closing items to insure a timely closing.
