Holiday HAP Schedule
Please remember that November and December will be short Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) voucher processing months, so it is very important to submit your tenant certifications and vouchers to your HAP voucher specialist as early as possible to ensure timely payments.
Per guidelines from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), properties must submit vouchers each month prior to the 10th. If vouchers are submitted after the 10th, they are subject to late payment.
Below are the upcoming holidays that Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) offices are closed:
- Thursday and Friday, November 26-27
- Thursday and Friday, December 24-25
- Thursday and Friday, December 31-January 1
Again, please submit your vouchers as early as possible for the month of November and December. Contact your HAP voucher specialist if you have any questions or need assistance. If there will be a delay in getting your voucher to KHC prior to the 10th for November and/or December, please contact your HAP voucher specialist or Manager of Subsidy Administration, Vanessa Henry.
Note: Please submit special claims needing review and approval periodically throughout the month rather than multiple claims at one time.
