2016 Multifamily Guidelines Now Available

KHC has released the Multifamily Guidelines for the 2016 funding round. The Guidelines are available on KHC's website, under Development; Multifamily; Applications, Guidelines, and Scoring.  

 

As a reminder, KHC will host a training session for the 2016 multifamily application round on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET, in the auditorium of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky.  

 

This training is mandatory for any developer who has not had a multifamily project funded and placed in service with KHC within the last three years and who intends to apply in the 2016 competitive funding round. All developers, owners, consultants, equity providers, and affordable housing partners are also invited to attend. Registration is available until 5 p.m. Friday, September 11.  

 

Please note:  KHC will not provide a printed copy of the Guidelines; therefore, it is suggested that attendees bring a copy to the training for reference.

Draft HOME/AHTF Application Guidelines Now Available
Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has released the draft Single-Family Guidelines for the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME)/Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) Homebuyer and Homeowner Rehabilitation.

The Guidelines are available on KHC's website, under Development, Single-Family. KHC will accept comments on the Guidelines until 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 17, 2015. Please send comments to hcasinglefamily@kyhousing.org.

Please note:  HOME Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) is not included in this application round and will likely occur after the first of the year. 
CAPER Report
The draft Kentucky Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is prepared by Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) and the Department for Local Government (DLG) and is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development. The CAPER details how the state utilized block grant funds allocated for federal fiscal year 2014. The CAPER will be available for public review and comment, Saturday, September 12 through Saturday, September 26, 2015. Written comments will be accepted, addressed and, where applicable, incorporated into the document. A summary of comments will be submitted to HUD.

Surplus Cubicle Furniture Sale
KHC is offering surplus cubicle furniture for sale. Inspections of cubicle furniture will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015, from 3-5 p.m. ET, at KHC's Weatherization Training Center, 600 Warsaw Street, in Frankfort. Cubicle furniture will be sold in a complete package; items will not be parceled out.  

Please submit bids to Lisa Buchanan, KHC, 1231 Louisville Road, Frankfort, Kentucky, 40601, or email at lbuchanan@kyhousing.org. All bids must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30. All items will be sold "as-is."

Winners with highest bids will be notified by Thursday, October 1. Removal of purchased items is the sole responsibility of the buyer. KHC employees will not be available to move purchased items. Pick up of purchased property will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 5.
