Final Notice - New Reporting Requirements for HOME Funded Projects
HOME funded projects still in their affordability period are now required to submit an Annual Rent Approval Form. The 2013 HOME Final Rule is an amendment to 24CFR 92.252(f)(2), which requires that a Participating Jurisdiction review and approve rents for each HOME-assisted project annually to ensure that the project complies with the HOME rent limits, and to prevent undue increases that would result in a hardship for the residents. For 2015, all HOME funded projects still in their affordability period are required to submit an Annual Rent Approval Form by Saturday, August 15, 2015. After Friday, January 1, 2016, the Annual Rent Approval Form will be due no later than 45 days after the HUD published HOME Rent Limits are released.

The HUD published HOME Rent Limits may be accessed at: https://www.hudexchange.info/manage-a-program/home-rent-limits/.

The HOME Annual Rental Approval Form is located on KHC's website, Quick Links, Asset Management, Home Rental Program Tools tab.

Failure to submit the form by Saturday, August 15, 2015, could result in a finding and/or being placed on KHC's suspension and debarment list.

If you have any questions, please contact Carlisha McKissic-Roberts at 859-595-5828 or Matt Mulberry toll-free in Kentucky at 800-633-8896 or 502-564-7630, extensions 479, TTY 711; or email croberts@kyhousing.org or mmulberry@kyhousing.org, respectively.
New Draw System Set-Up

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) is changing the process for submission of funding draw requests for all funding recipients with existing and new projects. This change will allow KHC to offer funding information to partners and improve the turn-around time for funding requests. Draw requests will now be accepted through the Program Funding Draw Management System.

How to Get Started?

To set-up your account, visit the Program Funding Draw Management System and follow three easy steps:

  1. Register/Create an account
  2. Request access to your project(s)
  3. After project access is approved, create and submit the draw request

It is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 10 or above, or the latest version of Firefox or Chrome when completing your registration.

Instructions to complete registration and submit a draw request can be found in the FAQ section of the System. KHC received the following feedback during the project pilot:

"I had no problem registering, navigating, or reviewing information, and I didn't even read the instructions provided beyond a quick glance! Not having to complete the heading information for every new draw request like we do with the Universal Draw Request saves some time."

~Brandon Vise, Kentucky River Community Care partner

We are very excited to offer this new enhanced system to our partners! If you have any questions about the Program Funding Draw Management System or need assistance registering, please contact your assigned Program Representative.

Please note:  As of Tuesday, September 1, 2015, KHC will no longer accept draws through the Universal Draw Request.
