Draft Qualified Allocation Plan Now Available

The 2016 Draft Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) for the 2016 multifamily funding round is now available for review and is posted on KHC's website, under Development; Multifamily; Applications, Guidelines, and Scoring; under the Guidelines and Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) dropdown. The scoring for the 2016 funding round is still under development, but when the draft score sheet is ready, it will be announced in a future eGram.

 

As a reminder, Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) will host an open forum to solicit feedback for the draft 2016 QAP. The forum will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, from 1-4 p.m. ET, in the conference room of the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, 100 Airport Road, Frankfort, Kentucky.

Qualified Allocation Plan Public Hearing

All multifamily developers, consultants, investors, or other interested parties are invited to attend a public hearing for the 2016 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit) Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).

 

The public hearing will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, in the conference room of the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, 100 Airport Road, Frankfort, Kentucky

Uniform Physical Conditions Standards

Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) Training Academy will be providing a one-day training on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. ET, at Liberty Green, 500 E. Jefferson Street, Louisville, Kentucky. The training targets property management companies that are responsible for maintaining compliance with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program. The cost of the training is $10 for OCCH partners and $100 for non-partners. Early registration is encouraged due to limited space.

The training will cover the following topics: 

  • Basic principles of UPCS Inspection Protocol
  • Health and Safety Hazards
  • Inspected Items and Areas
  • REAC Scoring and Summary
  • Definitions of Site Issues
