Kentucky Disaster Declarations 

Previously, Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) reported that residents of 10 Kentucky counties who suffered damage from the severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, landslides, and mudslides of April 2-17, 2015, may be eligible for federal disaster assistance.

    

Two additional disaster declarations have been announced. Please visit FEMA's website to view all disaster declarations for Kentucky.

Housing Assistance Funds for Counseling 

KHC will publish a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for counseling during the upcoming fiscal year. Stay tuned to future eGrams for further details.

National Industry Standards:  Comments Requested 

The National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling Committee is seeking public comments on the newly drafted Financial Capability and Rental Housing Counseling Standards.  

 

Comments are due by 5 p.m. ET, Friday, June 12, 2015, to web@homeownershipstandards.org.
