Kentucky Survivors of April Storms Can Register for Disaster Aid 

Residents of 10 Kentucky counties who suffered damage from the severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, landslides, and mudslides of April 2-17, 2015, may be eligible for federal disaster assistance.

 

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Kentucky Emergency Management (KYEM) announced jointly that assistance is available to affected individuals in Bath, Bourbon, Carter, Elliott, Franklin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Madison, Rowan, and Scott counties.

Housing Assistance Funds  for Counseling 

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) will be publishing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Counseling during upcoming fiscal year. Stay tuned to future eGrams for further details.

Public Hearing Notice 

A Public Hearing will be held to discuss and review comments on the revised Five-Year PHA Plan for administering the KHC Housing Choice Voucher Program. The hearing will be held from 2-3 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at KHC, 1231 Louisville Road, Frankfort, Kentucky.

 

The Plan is for federal fiscal years 2015 - 2019.

 

The plan will be available for public review and comment from Saturday, May 9, 2015, through Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the above address and on KHC's website, under Rental. Comments will be addressed and considered for incorporation into the final plan.
