Fair Housing and Diversity Training
Join KHC, the Lexington Fair Housing Council, and the Lexington Human Rights Commission for a Fair Housing and Diversity Training. This training is a great opportunity to learn about segregation history in Kentucky communities. As Sara Pratt, from HUD Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, said at the 2015 KY Affordable Housing Conference, "(Fair housing) is about undoing the legacies of 100 years or more of discrimination...Barriers exist but are often not created through hate but a lack of awareness of the issues." Events like this help us all become more aware.
Fair Housing and Diversity Training Wednesday, April 30, 1-4 p.m. NKU METS Conference Center 3861 Olympic Blvd. Erlanger, KY 41018
- Free!
- Focuses on basic Fair Housing law and will include a brief diversity session.
