Conference Survey

Don't forget to give your feedback on the 2015 Kentucky Affordable Housing Conference. The survey closes tomorrow, Friday, April 24, so please take a moment to tell us  about your experience. Your input is extremely helpful in planning future conferences.

Marketing to Millennials

Did you miss the Marketing to Millennials session? Ryan Christensen and Dave Savage provided helpful tools for all housing professionals, regardless of focus, to help with the largest population of Americans. Visit TheREsource.tv for a short video and a few resources they provided after their time at the 2015 Kentucky Affordable Housing Conference.

Fair Housing and Diversity Training

Join KHC, the Lexington Fair Housing Council, and the Lexington Human Rights Commission for a Fair Housing and Diversity Training. This training is a great opportunity to learn about segregation history in Kentucky communities. As Sara Pratt, from HUD Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, said at the 2015 KY Affordable Housing Conference, "(Fair housing) is about undoing the legacies of 100 years or more of discrimination...Barriers exist but are often not created through hate but a lack of awareness of the issues." Events like this help us all become more aware.
