KHC's Good Friday Schedule 

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) offices will close at noon on Friday, April 3, 2015, in observance of Good Friday. KHC offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 6.  

 

Third Party Originator (TPO) lenders who want to close a loan on Friday, April 3, must have approval, as well as all pre-closing items for review to KHC's mortgage loan closer by 10 a.m. ET, today, Wednesday, April 1. If closing on Friday, April 3, it will need to be scheduled no later than 11 a.m. ET. If received after 10 a.m. ET, then closing can be set for Wednesday, April 8.

 

For Correspondent Lenders, due to our inability to send out wires on Friday, please submit your requests to KHC by 1 p.m. ET, today, Wednesday, April 1, in order to wire funds tomorrow for a closing on Friday, April 3.  Otherwise, your wire will be sent out by 10 a.m. ET, on Monday, April 6. 

 

For closings on Monday, please submit your request for funds to KHC by 11 a.m. ET, on Friday, April 3.  Funds will be wired out by 10 a.m. ET, on Monday, April 6.

Limited MRB Special Funding Program Still Available!   

KHC has only $300,000 in special funding still available for households with lower income! This program gives the borrower more buying power with a below-market interest rate of 2.00 percent, fixed for 30 years. The program is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Who can qualify for this deal?

  • Households that do not exceed $35,000 gross annual income, and meet ONE of the following:
    • At least one home buyer is 62 years old or older.
    • At least one member is disabled and is receiving disability income.
    • A single- or two-parent household with at least one dependent child under the age of 18 living in the home.

Special Funding qualifications included:

  • Must be a first-time home buyer, unless property in targeted county.
  • Existing and new construction (purchase price limit of $115,000).
  • Regular and Affordable Down payment Assistance Program available.
  • 640 minimum credit score.
  • FHA, VA, and RHS first mortgage options.
  • AUS Approval.
  • 40/45% maximum ratios.

Registration Option

Ensure your seat in the sessions you want to attend! On-site registration will be available in the Lexington Convention Center at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8.
