Your Opinion Counts

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) is asking partners for feedback to streamline processes and improve administering administration of federal housing programs. Please take a short survey so we may address your needs and concerns. The survey is available until 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 31.

The survey is anonymous, so please use this opportunity to give KHC candid feedback. Your feedback is important to help KHC identify process and/or policy changes we may need to consider.

Registration for VI-SPDAT and SPDAT Training is Now Open!

On February 25, the Kentucky Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) Advisory Board voted and adopted a pilot implementation of the Vulnerability Index and Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT) as the BoS CoC's Coordinated Assessment tool.

The pilot project will impact the way both CoC- and ESG-funded agencies operate. We highly encourage all partners and their staff, from the BoS CoC, to attend this exciting training opportunity. This training is geared towards front-line staff working with vulnerable populations every day.

Iain De Jong, creator of the Service Prioritization Decision AssistanceTool (SPDAT), will be conducting a free training session on Friday, April 10, at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom in Lexington, Kentucky, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. ET, directly following the 2015 Kentucky Affordable Housing Conference.

The VI-SPDAT has been chosen as the tool for measuring housing needs and priorities in communities across the country by agencies, such as United Way's Home for Good and the states of Michigan and West Virginia, as well as locally by the Louisville/Jefferson County Continuum of Care.

Register now for this valuable training opportunity! Registration is required for attendance. For your convenience, a buffet lunch option will be available for attendees on Friday, April 10, in the Hyatt Regency restaurant for $12.95 per person.
