Speaker Spotlight
James H. Davis is a Professor of Strategic Management and the Chairman of the Management Department at Utah State University. Prior to Utah State, he was the John F. O'Shaughnessy Professor of Family Enterprises and Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Notre Dame. He earned his Ph.D. in Corporate Strategy from the University of Iowa. He has worked with many major national and multinational corporations throughout the world on strategic planning and company positioning. He is an accomplished author and popular keynote speaker to audiences throughout the world on the topics of trust, stewardship, transformational strategy, and change. His research was recognized by The Academy of Management Review, which named his trust research as the most influential theory of the decade of the 1990s. He is the author of two books: Social Capital: Multidisciplinary Perspectives and Growth Simply: The three-circle model.
