KYHMIS ART Upgrade

The Kentucky Homeless Management Information System (KYHMIS) Advanced Reporting Tool (ART) will be upgrade to 3.1 Friday evening, January 16, 2015. This upgrade will result in ART downtime that will range from late Friday afternoon and extend overnight into Saturday morning. ART will be unavailable during this time.

The upgrade may affect certain custom-built reports customers use. KYHMIS staff will be investigating all custom reports in the Public Folder, 000 for changes to data reporting post upgrade.

There will be several reports that will be permanently retired from ART following the upgrade.

  • 0116 Measuring Growth by Provider
  • 0120 Period End Enrollment
  • 0230 HPRP Data Quality Report Part 1
  • 0623 VA SSVF APR
  • 0624 VA SSVF APR Detail

Also the 0603 HOPWA CAPER and the 0604 HOPWA APR will be temporarily removed from ART while minor modifications are made.

ART 3.1 will support Java 7 (update 72); however, will not support Java 8. If you have installed Java 8 on your computer, you will need to have your local information technology professional uninstall Java 8 and roll back to Java 7. We recommend the use of Mozilla Firefox 32-bit version when using ServicePoint or ART. You may need to "allow" Java 7 to run.

Exporting options have changed. You will now see the following:

  • Excel
  • Excel 2007
  • PDF
  • Text
  • CSV
  • CSV (with options)
  • CSV (all reports)

However, PDF must still be used for all submission reporting and either Excel or Excel 2007 for all other needs. If you have any questions or encounter issues post upgrade, please log a help ticket at https://kyhmis.zendesk.com.
