Getting the Word out on a Hot Deal
Using "KHP pays your first three" to increase sales
Last week we announced an exciting new promotion that has KY Home Performance (KHP) picking up the first three payments on any new loan that comes through the program. As a KHP contractor in good standing, you can assure all of your customers that this offer is in effect right now, and will automatically be processed on any KHP project that is approved at the standard rate structure. While that's an easy marketing message to get across to your prospects, we want to be sure that you're equipped to get the most benefit from this valuable offer.
Many KHP contractors have found success with a simple combination of informative leave-behind materials and a short conversation describing the program's features and lending standards. During the most recent promotion, for instance, we saw contractors making good use of the KHP tri-fold as a marketing tool with the promotional insert included. Some contractors chose to also include a copy of the Monthly Estimator to emphasize the low monthly payments that distinguish KHP loans.
Next week, KHP will be distributing a new insert that combines the functions of both of these pieces: an attention-grabbing announcement of the new offer and a quick reference table, immediately explaining the value of those payments. Homeowners who elect to take advantage of these terms will sign up with KHP in the same way they always have - by calling AFC First or applying online. The only difference your customers will notice is they won't make a payment until the fourth billing cycle, after they've had an entire season to appreciate your installation and your participation in KY Home Performance.
