I know we have talked about how to find out who to contact on the staff, but I bet you haven't gone back to that page to see all the changes in personnel. I know you know how to do this, just sign into the web site, then click on HOA INFO. Now click on HOA Contacts and take a good look at the list. I bet there are names there you don't recognize. Scroll down the page and check out the new employees, or the old employees in new positions.Take a minute or two and read their biographies.You will see these folks have backgrounds that fit their jobs. Really there is a wealth of talent working for you. Just as a refresher, I am sure you don't need it since you all have been such good students, to read a bio, click on the person's name and presto, there it is. It must be magic!!

Lakes Course Closed


For the safety of everyone, the course will be completely off limits to homeowners that live on the Lakes course and those who use the course for access to the pro shop. There will be open trenches and numerous other hazards all over the golf course.
 
Life Line Screening

IronOaks at Sun Lakes is pleased to offer a preventive health event. Life Line Screening, a leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings, will host their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings on July 29, 2015.

  

Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries which are a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart disease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis.

Facilities Announcement

 

Tennis Court Construction 

On Monday, June 22, 2015, construction will begin on the Ironwood Tennis Courts. The clay will be removed in order to install the post tension hard service. Please do not cross the barriers and enter the construction zone. The work will not interfere with the use of the Halley pool and cabana.

 

Voax Pool

According to Southwest Gas, the earliest the Voax pool will be heated is the end of June. The laying of the lines is on-going. The water temperature is where it should be for this time of year at about 86 degrees due to the extreme heat and warm nights we are currently experiencing.

9-21 - Ironwood closed for Overseeding

10-5 - Oakwood closed for Overseeding

 

Ironwood will open on 10/12. Oakwood will open on 10/29. Dates are subject to change based on weather. Golfers will be limited to cart paths for 21 days after opening after overseeding.

The Sun Lakes Posse

A Community Asset                                              
            

The Sun Lakes Posse is one of the real assets of this community. Not only are there Posse members patrolling our streets and Sheriff's Deputies on site for law enforcement when necessary, medical equipment is available free of charge for Sun Lakes residents to borrow when there is a need. The Posse is manned by an all volunteer force who willingly give their time to make Sun Lakes a safer and better place to live.

 

If you need medical equipment after surgery, suffer a broken bone, are just home from rehab or have a guest who needs equipment, just come to the Posse Office. The only requirement for taking advantage of this service is residency in Sun Lakes. The Medical Equipment Office hours of operation are:

9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays 

 

Due to the upcoming holiday, Friday, July 3, 2015, the Medical Equipment office will be open from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
