Meet & Greet with the GM

Along with the Accounting Department Managers, I held my first Meet & Greet at Ironwood on Friday, April 24, 2015. We had 26 homeowners in attendance.  It went well, and everyone was able to speak that wished to. We discussed Golf, the Clay Tennis Courts and F&B.  We will hold our next Meet and Greet on May 22, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Oakwood. The Facilities Managers will be in attendance.  

Summer Kickoff Party at Ironwood

We held our First Annual Summer Kickoff Event at Ironwood on April 25, 2015. We offered hot dogs or polish sausage with chips for $1.00 and were entertained by a DJ. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, just check out the photos below.  Please join us for many more summer events at Ironwood such as Team Trivia on Thursdays starting May 7th, Hold Em Poker on Fridays starting May 15th, Painting & Wine the 3rd Monday of each month, along with many more events.  A big thank you to all who attended. We had over $1,200 in sales.                                               

Employee Appreciation Event

We held our First Annual Employee Appreciation Event at Ironwood on April 26th. Close to 150 employees attended, and a special thanks goes out to Verena Aragon (Assistant Controller) who organized the event, and Linda Hollenbeck, Victor Davis, Dean Baumstark and Ron Kotnik for assistance with setup and cleanup.  Famous Dave's catered the event therefore, all staff were able to enjoy the event and not have to work.  Thanks to Tammy Mason (HR/Payroll Manager) who made our poster with baby photos of Managers. We played a game of guess the manager.  You can check out the baby photos in the Lobby of the Oakwood Clubhouse.  We would like to say a special thank you to those homeowners who contributed to the Christmas Fund for employees in December. We were able to use the money towards some really nice door prizes for the employees  Check out the photos below and you can see why we are all looking forward to next year's event.

Sunday Buffet at Oakwood

Our $10.00 Sunday Buffets are a hit. This past Sunday we served a record high of 461 people with over $5,600 in sales. We will continue our Sunday Buffet through the summer and into the winter months from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. A special $20.00 Sunday Buffet will be held on Mother's Day.  Bring your mother and treat her to a "day off from cooking".

After further consideration we have decided to alter our summer hours as follows starting  

May 1, 2015.. 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday                    9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday                                 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

We will watch our daily sales closely and adjust as needed. The nights we have special events we will be open in the evenings for the event.
