April 21st is the last day the  Farmer's Market will be here until the fall.  Make sure to mark your calendar so you can stock with all your favorites up for the summer.

Lady on Computer
Log on to the web site; by now you are all experts at this step.  Click on HOA INFO; look to the left, go all the way down to the bottom of the list.  WOW! Look at what we have found. The Villas At IronOaks.  Now you have two choices; Villas 37 and Villas 46A.  It is amazing! These units have their own Associations, meetings, officers, financials, etc.  Now that you know all about the Villas, once the weather cools off, take a field trip and check them out.

Completed Projects: 
 
South Dobson Gate at Oakwood: An accident occurred on February 17, 2015 ,which caused the gate closure. It has beenfully repaired and the gate was reopened on March 9, 2015.  
Crack Sealing at Ironwood and Oakwood: We began the project on crack sealing of roads on February 27, 2015, and completed the project on March 3, 2015.
Sun Lakes Boulevard Repair at Oakwood:Sun Lakes Boulevard was partially closed on March 23, 2015 and 24, 2015, for repair of a crack across the road between holes 2 and 3 on the Lakes Golf Course.
 
Current Projects:

Palms Pump Station at Oakwood: Pima utilities began work on the Palms pump station on the Palms golf course on March 9, 2015, which included the restrooms. The project on the restrooms was completed and reopened on March 13, 2015. However, the pump station repair is still ongoing.

Halley Fountain at Ironwood: The new plumping was installed and water was pumped into the fountain from the lake. The plumbing is working as designed, and pumps water to and from the lake. The blue paint has been removed and there is a project request for completion of the fountain base.

 

Future Projects:

Parking Space Survey: We hired a surveyor to work with us on determining what our current parking space situation is along with what impact future projects will have. A meeting was scheduled for April 7, 2015, with our surveyor, our HOA representatives and Maricopa County, who will have 10 departments present to hear our proposals.

Lakes Golf Course: The Lakes course renovation project was presented at the board workshop on March 18, 2015, and was discussed at the March 25, 2015, monthly BOD meeting

Halley and Voax Pools at Ironwood: The Southwest Gas Corporation's engineering blueprints and proposals have been submitted to the IronOaks Board of Directors for review.  The blueprints and proposals were discussed at the March 25, 2015, monthly BOD meeting.

Cell Tower: We have been informed the earliest the cell tower project will begin is the 4th quarter of this year.

 

Beginning in April, we will start our new Meet and Greet for homeowners to have the opportunity to chat with the GM and to get to know our Department Managers.

A Message From Patrol

 

Attention Homeowners                                               

 

Thinking about purchasing a new vehicle? Going to have a new windshield installed? Before you do either, stop by the Patrol Office and let us remove your gate device so that it can be used again. Otherwise, you may not be able to get it to stick on the glass. So many times, the car dealership or the glass company remove the devices and don't get all the glue with it. The Patrol personnel have been very successful in transferring the gate devices, and even the new IRONOAKS Decals. Let us help you save $20.00.

 

Golf Cart Safety

 

The Rules and Regulations, and all pertinent laws state that only licensed drivers are permitted to operate a motorized vehicle, including golf carts, on HOA streets.

 

We realize that it is fun for under-aged children to drive a golf cart, but it is not legal nor is it permitted. Think SAFETY before you let your children and/or grandchildren get behind the wheel of your golf cart. A small child was observed driving a golf cart in the Oakwood Clubhouse parking lot. There was another small child in the passenger seat, and the adult was standing on the back, looking over the top of the cart! Not smart! If an emergency had arisen, the adult would not have been able to get to the children. So be safe and remember, only a licensed driver can legally operate your golf cart.

7-20 - Ironwood closed for aerating Monday 7/20 through Friday 7/24

Ironwood will open on 10/12. Oakwood will open on 10/29. Dates are subject to change based on weather. Golfers will be limited to cart paths for 21 days after opening after overseeding.
