New F & B Changes

Are you wondering what is in store for our F&B department in 2015?  Some of you have started to notice the changes happening in F&B over the last few weeks as we are receiving lots of positive comment cards and feedback from homeowners who have either dined with us or attended an event.  Over the next few months there will be improvements in regards to the overall customer service, restaurants menus, events, and staffing.  Please join me in welcoming the following to our F&B management team: 

We have separated the F&B Director role into two positions:

Victor Davis, our new Director of F&B Operations.  Victor has been with IronOaks for over 3 years, has been working for our banquets department and has over 15 years experience in an F&B manager position. He will oversee customer service in the restaurants and banquets daily operations of all venues, membership activities and work closely with Dean on financials and budgets.

Dean Baumstark, our new Director of F&B Finance.  Dean has been with IronOaks for over 8 years and has been a great asset to both the F&B and Accounting departments.  He will oversee all financial aspects of the F&B department focusing on inventory control, menu costing, labor costs and overall budgets.

Tim Zahoran, our new Kitchen Manager.  Tim has been with IronOaks for over two years as our Sous Chef at Oakwood.  He will oversee all training for the kitchen staff, schedules and the daily operations for our three restaurants.

Linda Hollenbeck, our new Restaurant Manager. Linda has been with IronOaks for over 2 years and has been overseeing Poolside and Ironwood since mid-January.  She will oversee all training for the front of house staff, schedules and the daily operations for our three restaurants.

Heather Davis, our new Banquet Operations Manager. Heather has been with IronOaks for over 3½ years and has been overseeing the setup and service of our banquet and homeowner events.  She will oversee all training for the banquet staff, schedules and the day to day operations for all homeowner and outside events.

Danielle Bowls, our new Banquet Sales Manager.  Danielle has been with IronOaks for over 3½ years and has been our banquet operations captain. She will booking and scheduling all events for the homeowners and public throughout our venues and overseeing all banquet event order processing and contracts.

I am very happy to report with all the above positions changes we are still under the 2015 projected payroll budget.  I am very pleased to announce the restaurant hours for all three location will remain as is until May 1st, which will kick off our summer hours.  We will post within the next week the Summer hours schedule.  We are all looking forward to adding new events at both Ironwood and Oakwood.  As of April 12, 2015, we will serving at $10.00 breakfast buffet on Sundays from  8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Oakwood dining room.
