Ad Hoc Pickleball Committee Update

Pickleball Committee Prepares Resolution

The Ad-Hoc Pickleball Committee meeting was held on Thursday, October 23rd, in the Oakwood library. In keeping with the committee's goal to find an area for pickleball play that will not affect homeowners, the committee passed the following resolution:

Build 8 post-tension concrete pickleball courts in the parking lot near the Oakwood children's pool. To insure proper sound abatement, the pickleball court walls will be built using blocks with high sound abatement ratings.

The resolution will be sent to the HOA Board with a request the resolution be placed on the agenda at the November HOA Board meeting.

General Manager's Report

Amenity & Common Area Survey

TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO GIVE YOUR INPUT                We want to hear from you

The Amenity Usage Survey will assist the board and management in making decisions now and in the future. This is different than the Annual Homeowner Survey which assesses progress towards the goals in the Master Plan.  That survey will be sent early in 2015.

The survey takes about ten minutes to complete. If there are two homeowners in the household, you both can take the survey at the same time, or each of you may complete the survey on your own. Make sure you do not delete the survey from your email if each homeowner will be taking the survey at different times. Caution: Once you click "continue" to the next page, you may not go back to previous pages. However, if you close the survey and reopen it, it will take you to the page where you closed the survey. If you need assistance with the online survey, please submit a comment card; assistance will be provided.

Paper copies are available at the  Ironwood and Oakwood Clubhouses for people who do not have access to a computer. If you have friends or neighbors who do not have a computer, please tell them they can obtain  their copy at one of the clubhouses. It is important that their voice will be heard too. We ask that only those without computer access use the paper copies because of the intensive labor involved in hand-tallying paper copies.

                                 THE DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 16.
