Muskingum University Newsletter

for Alumni and Friends
October 2013
"I've learned a lot as a Muskie. I learned that change is a part of life. My time at Muskingum has been full of changes. Through my experiences, I've changed as a person. I've become a stronger, more confident individual. I am more sure of who I am and what I want to do with my life, and I've developed values that drive me to be the best person I can be. "

Muskie Fellows - student summer research
The Muskie Fellows program allows students and faculty to immerse themselves in the pursuit of specific and challenging areas of research that the students study during the regular school year.

To be considered for a fellowship, students must write a detailed proposal of what they intend to study and what they hope that study will achieve. This is done in tandem with the faculty members with whom they intend to work, and who must provide the formal nomination for the fellowship. Proposals are then considered by the office of the vice president of academic affairs and ultimately approved by the president of the university.  Muskingum nursing students
