Week Two of our raised garden beds

"Fire! The breathing dragon!" - My son, age 4

When my son was little, he staged a war with his magnificent Dragons and exclaimed this statement above. His arms rose, his chest puffed, his voice deepened and bellowed. The battle ensued.

I look back on this and imagine myself with my own dragons..... "THE WEEDS"!!  But What's an organic gardener to do? No chemicals that is a last resort...... LAST resort.

Enter the Weed Dragon!
"Fire the Breathing Dragon, I will kill you green weed, with deceptive cute little flowers, and your little offspring too!"

The scene: I toss my head back and laugh maniacally. I position the Weed Dragon directly above the ever so insidious weed and I melt it's fleshy green tissue! Muawahahahaha! Oh the satisfaction of eradicating the beast named Sorrel.... and Spurge... oh yeah and Chickweed.... grrr.

The Weed Dragon is a great tool for controlling weeds with it's propane tank hook up, but it is not fool proof.  When it is dry it could catch mulch and other debris on fire. If left on, in one spot for too long it could cause a fire to break.
It is best to carry a watering can or have a hose near by, just in case.
You can also do your "weeding" after a rain. The weed dragon is about temperature and getting the tissue hot enough to break the plant cells down, so it does not need to be dry.  Also some weeds may need to be "melted" a couple of times for complete control.

It is great for controlling weeds in stone or shell driveways. and it is safer for the environment, than chemical weed killers. See our flyer below for a great promotion on the Weed Dragon.

The best part; you get so much satisfaction from burning their little heads off. Yup, I said it out loud, AND You won't get any judgement from me.

Have fun ~ Nan
