February 15, 2013 will mark the one year anniversary of the passing of Coopera's founder and late CEO,
Warren Morrow. Today, we remember Warren as a visionary credit union leader who had a tremendous impact on the Latino community and the credit union movement nationwide.

In his 34 years, Warren accomplished what many of us only dream of. By founding Coopera in 2006, Warren was pursuing a lifelong mission. In a 2008
Des Moines Register article he said, "Working to demonstrate the value of underserved and disenfranchised communities is a lifelong mission that will always motivate me."
Warren believed that credit unions were philosophically aligned with his vision and could be the ideal conduit to bring dignified financial services to Latinos nationwide. A vision Coopera continues to pursue today. As with any great leader, Warren showed us that no matter where you come from, it's possible to be successful by pursuing your passion and making a difference in the world. He taught credit unions to do the same.
While Warren may have left us, his spirit is being felt and his passion is being shared by more people than ever as his legacy lives on.
Our late founder would be thrilled to witness Coopera's growth, adding 12 new clients in as many months last year. He'd be inspired to see us chasing down our strategic objectives, knocking down hurdles and pursuing his vision with gusto. Thank you for taking a moment to remember Warren's life with us.
