Bishop Steiner Ball's Days in the District: Sand Hill UMC

Bishop Sandra Steiner Ball preached this past weekend at Sand Hill United Methodist Church in the Little Kanawha District. The bishop is about half way through her days in the district schedule. Kudos to the folks at Sand Hill for recording and posting Bishop Steiner Ball's sermon. The connection at work is always a Glory Sighting!

The bishop also visited with young adults while in the district. Check out the new Facebook home for young adult ministries in the conference.

Bishop Steiner Ball also visited Community Development Outreach Ministries (CDOM), one of seven mission projects affiliated with the Conference, earlier this month.

"The open house was a chance for people to learn more about what one of their mission projects does," said CDOM director, the Rev. Luana Cook-Scott. "The event was really geared toward the churches in the (Midland South) district that support us. We couldn't do it without them!"

Growing Your Church April 27 - 28

Members of Fayetteville UMC began their coaching journey three years ago with a Growing Your Church event at Chief Logan State Park. The church has seen more than 100 new faces since that time.
