"Spring Heights Sings" now available
Spring Heights and the United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia (UMFWV) have partnered to offer "Spring Heights Sings," a collection of songs that campers recorded during last year's summer session. The music will be available via download for donations of $12 or more to the Spring Heights Campership Fund (SHCF).

Glory Sighting: Conference receives
more than 500 Blankets, Pillows
blankets and pillows

2012 was a busy disaster response year for many local churches and ministries in the conference. A June 29 derecho coupled with "superstorm" Sandy created many opportunities for the ministry, but also depleted supplies.

One way the West Virginia Conference responded was with a Christmas "Blanket and Pillow" drive. "We hoped to have 500 gathered by Christmas," said the Rev. Monty Brown, who chairs the conference division of health and welfare. "I am most grateful for the generosity of the people in the conference."

Churches collected more than 500 blankets and pillows last month, and will be available when the next disaster strikes. State food pantries, including those at our conference mission projects and churches were also depleted in 2012. Check with your local church or the mission project near you to find out if there are other needs! Thank you!
