Holy Week: The Easter Triduum - Our journey to the font culminates in the three days that make up the Easter Triduum. These three days draw us into the mystery of our salvation.

 

Maundy Thursday, April 17

                 12:05 pm Communion Service in the Chapel with stripping of the Chapel altar

 

                    7 pm Communion Service in the Church with Foot-Washing

and traditional Stripping of the ChurchAltar;

followed by  Solemn Over-night Altar Watch in the church

 

 

GOOD FRIDAY, April 18 - 12:05 pm Final Communion Reserve - Church

                                      7 pm  Mary's Solemn Hour, includes special music presentation

                                                        "The Crucifixion"  sung by Miss Maria McIlvain

 

Holy Saturday, April 19

9 am Holy Saturday prayers

7 pm Great Vigil of Easter,  followed by a Grand Party!!  Come Celebrate!

party "Big Momma" invites you to the first Easter celebration complete with a Chocolate fountain, ice cream sundaes, champagne  

and sparkling juice. 




 

 

EASTER  DAY, April 20

10 am Festival Communion in the Church with music by the choir

followed by a lavish reception in the undercroft and  

an Easter Egg hunt for kids!

(No 8 am service)

followed by Solemn Overnight Altar Watch in the Church

Good Friday

12:05 Overnight Watch ends; Final Communion from the Reserve Sacrament

Thrift Shop Closed

7 pm Mary's Solemn Hour with soloist, Maria McIlvain singing "The Crucifixion"


SAT, April 19

9 am Holy Saturday Prayers  

7 pm GREAT EASTER VIGIL begins outside in the Courtyard, moves into the Chapel, and ends with a festive party in the church undercroft 

SUNDAY, April 20 
       EASTER

10 am - One Service -
Festival Communion, Rite II - Church
followed by a lavish reception in the undercroft.
