Prayer of Self-Dedication, BCP 832

Almighty and eternal God, so draw our hearts to you, so guide our minds, so fill our imaginations, so control our wills, that we may be wholly yours, utterly dedicated to you; then use us, we pray, as you will, and always for your glory and the welfare of your people; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Amen.
CHURCH SCHOOL

CHURCH SCHOOL   Parents, Guardians, and Students!

Sunday school will continue as a whole group meeting in the undercroft through Sunday, Dec 22.  We continue our focus on the season of Advent and the true meaning of Christmas.  December 22 we will celebrate with a  Christmas party and a movie.

Sunday, Dec 29 there will be no Sunday school.

January 5th we will all again meet in the undercroft for Epiphany!

Our Fruits of the Holy Spirit rotation will resume with "Goodness" on Sunday, Jan 12th.  To all Parents, Adults and older siblings: Any time we gather Sunday school as a whole group in the undercroft please feel free to join us.

I hope during this crazy busy time of the year we all take many moments to remember and carry out the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord.

         God Bless, Debbie

SLY Future Summit  ~ Sunday Dec. 15th 11:15am
It is very important that we have everyone's participation in this meeting for the future of Youth Ministry at St. Luke's to be a healthy one. There are important announcements and programming to discuss. This meeting will take place immediately following the 10am service on Sunday, Dec 15th.

News Alert!

In an effort to reduce some of our church expenses, we are attempting to trim the budget in little ways.  Your help and investment in this endeavor is most appreciated:  Only powdered creamer will be purchased by the church for coffee time.  If you must have ½ & ½, please consider donating some; the artificial sweetener will be Splenda (yellow packets), not a selection that includes pink & blue packets.  And think about putting a dollar "in the pot" every or every other time you drink a cup of coffee!  This may seem like a small attempt, but please know that "we" are looking at everything.  Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Thank you for your pledges to St Luke's

Pledge Envelopes are Available

If you would like envelopes for the 2014 pledging year, please let Catherine Way know.  Call the church office at 483-6405.

This will be the last issue of the VOICE newsletter until the 1st of the New Year.
