Rain Clears for Suwanee Students to Sing at Gwinnett Braves Game

Despite a very wet weekend, the Gwinnett Braves played a double-header Sunday afternoon and 46 Suwanee Elementary students, led by Mrs. Papenbrock, did a wonderful job performing, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." The rendition included harmonized parts and instruments. The rainy weather presented many challenges this past weekend and the PTA is very grateful for the flexibility and understanding everyone had regarding all of the time changes surrounding the game. Thank you to the Boy Scouts who served as color guard in the pre-game ceremony as well.

Because the inflatables did not open Sunday, the Gwinnett Braves will be refunding all Bounce Pass purchases. When the PTA receives the refund from the G-Braves, it will send individual refunds home through Friday Folders before school is out. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this event, please contact Wendi Pruett at wendi_pruett@hotmail.com.
