Dear PDL Families,

As our second year together comes to a close, I want to extend a huge thank you to all of our volunteers, in particular to our dedicated PTA Board and Presidents Doreen Bunten and Lauren Calderone.  Our school is a dedicated community of students, staff and parents who continually collaborate and give 110%.   As I reflect on the year, I have enjoyed all of our activities and memories together but especially being Mrs. GREEN-burger, being slimed, celebrating our Reading Counts successes with DJ Danny, becoming a BEACON school and receiving the COTA grant, visiting classrooms, interacting with the students and building relationships with all of you.  If this is your last year at PDL, I wish you only the best of everything and remind you that we love volunteers! 

This is my wish for you; long days and cool nights, salty skin from hours at the beach and swimming in the pool, slurpies, and juicy watermelon dripping down your chin.  Most importantly though is downtime with your children, without schedules or homework. Enjoy yourselves every minute and begin and end each day with a smile! I wish all of you a fun-filled summer and safe travels!
