BCF recently asked donors and partners to oppose a budgeting plan that would have removed $4.2 million from the city budget to fund afterschool programming. Many of you wrote in to the Mayor's office to oppose this cut, and the Mayor restored the funding. Thank you to all who participated in this action to provide better opportunities for our children.  

Each year, the National Urban League convenes its leadership, members and partners to participate in discussions around the state of the organization and urban America.
