A toast to generosity at BCF Legacy Luncheon
BCF honored its Legacy Society members with a luncheon hosted at the home of Jean and Sidney Silber. The Legacy Society honors those who have generously provided gifts to and through BCF in their estate plans. Twenty members lunched under a clear blue sky overlooking the famed, lush Silber garden. With Alonso's resignation, progress continues
Earlier this week, Baltimore City Schools CEO Dr. Andres Alonso announced his resignation and his plans to take a part-time teaching job at Harvard while caring for his ailing parents. Alonso may be leaving, but the transformative progress he's made, in partnership with hundreds of people and organizations like BCF, will stay. We're on a path to educational excellence, and we're looking forward to the future of our schools. For more on our work in education, click here

One Fund Our thoughts and prayers are with the community of Boston - the victims, their families, and all those the marathon bombings affected.
