Women's Giving Circle 400 strong

The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle hit a major milestone this week, adding its 400th member -- which means $400K each year for Baltimore women and children in poverty. Read more.   

Opportunity knocks

Congress has approved a two-year retroactive extension of the IRA Charitable Rollover provision to Dec 31, 3013. Right now: Make a rollover gift by Jan 31 that counts in tax year 2012. Learn more.

Grants for summer camps 

February 1 is the deadline to apply for a grant from the Fresh Air Fund -- a fund that enables disadvantaged and disabled Baltimore-area children to enjoy the benefits of a summer camp experience. Read more.
