Return of Service

One of the minor issues that has popped up occasionally is that the “Sheriff’s or Server’s Return” is being sent back to the attorney, rather than to the court. Even though the attorney submits the service documents to either the Sheriff’s office or a special process server, it is important that the return is sent to the court.
All parties will know when the court received the return documents because a docket entry will be made and the documents available for viewing online. If the attorney receives the service document in error, we would ask that they be submitted through the eFiling portal.

The SMBA will be hosting informal gatherings of Music in the Park at the Phelps Grove Pavilion on June 19, July 17 and August 21 from 4:30-7:00.
