Judge Carrier, Division 26 Assignment (order) Nonpartisan Court Plan News Garner Elected to 31st Circuit Judicial Commission by Steve Helms, Circuit Clerk The results of the December 7, 2013 run-off election for the Thirty-first Circuit Judicial Commission are: Steve Garner received 239 votes, Michael J. Patton received 156 votes, with a total of 395 votes cast. Steve Garner will fill the 2014 elective position on the Thirty-first Circuit Judicial Commission. His term is for six years. The Thirty-first Circuit Judicial Commission is tasked with the duty of choosing three nominees that are sent to the Governor in the event that there is a judicial vacancy in the Greene County Courts. The Commission is made up of five members; the Chief Justice of the Southern District Court of Appeals, two attorneys who are elected by their peers, and two non-attorneys that are chosen by the Governor of Missouri.
