Carrier Robing and Division 26 Assignment

SMBA member Ron Carrier will be sworn in Friday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m. at the Greene County Judicial Courts Facility, Division Four (Judge Mountjoy's Courtroom. A reception will follow the ceremony. Carrier will take the bench November 18 in Division 26, which will in the courtroom currently designated as Division 25. (Administrative order regarding Judge Carrier's case assignment) Division 25 will be moved to the Historic Courthouse, Room 212.

31st Circuit Judicial Commission Election Results in Run-Off
Since no candidate received a majority vote, there will be a run-off election between Steve Garner and Michael Patton. Voting will open November 12 and end December 6 with the results tallied on December 7 determining who will take the seat ast of January 1, 2014. Eligible voters will received notification.
