Governor Picks New Greene County Judge

Governor Jay Nixon today appointed J. Ronald Carrier as Associate Judge of the 31st Judicial Circuit. The new position was created by the General Assembly.

Carrier was one of three applicants submitted to the Governor for consideration by the 31st Circuit Judicial Commission under the Missouri Non Partisan Court Plan.

"Ron will be a great judge, and an asset to the bench in Greene County," said SMBA Executive Director Crista Hogan. "Ron is the first judge in Greene County to join the court though the nonpartisan court plan and his selection confirms the effectiveness of the plan."
