Public Interviews for New Associate Circuit Judge Candidates
The 31st Circuit Judicial Commission will conduct interviews of the 16 applicants for associate circuit judge from 8:30 to 1:45 on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the Missouri Court of Appeals, 300 Hammons Parkway, Third Floor Conference Room, Springfield, Missouri. The public is invited to attend and observe interviews. The Commission will meet immediately after interviews are completed on September 24, 2013, in the same location, to select three nominees from this applicant pool for the governor's consideration.
Openings for Lawyer Members on Local and Appellate Judicial Commissions
31st Circuit Judicial Commission Election
The term of Clif Smart, elective member of the of the 31st Circuit Judicial Commission, will expire December 31, 2013. An election for the open position will be held November 2, 2013. Missouri Bar members residing in Greene County are eligible to run. Interested parties must submit their nominating petition by October 3, 2013.

Appellate Judicial Commission Election, Southern District
As of December 31, 2013, the term of Mr. John Wooddell, elective member of the Appellate Judicial Commission, Southern District, will expire. An election for the open position will be held November 2, 2013. Missouri Bar members residing in the Southern District are eligible to run.
