Sara Rittman, former Deputy Chief Disciplinary Counsel and former legal ethics counsel brings her extensive experience to provide this timely update on the rules of professional responsibility. Judge Budd Retires, Borthwick Appointed

After 31 years with the city Judge Dennis Budd celebrated his retirement with a reception May 31 at the Municipal Court. Judge Budd began his tenure with the city in 1982 as a contract attorney, becoming Assistant City Attorney later that year. He was appointed Municipal Judge in 1994.

SMBA member Becky Borthwick was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Judge Budd's retirement.
