Kickapoo High School Wins Regional Mock Trial Competition, Will Advance to State Tournament

The Lathrop and Gage Ozarks' Regional Mock Trial Competition was held Thursday, February 28, at the SMBA office. Teams competed for the honor of winning and the privilege of representing the southern Missouri region in the state competition. Kickapoo won the tournament and will be advancing to the state competition, which will be held April 5-7, 2013, in St. Louis, Missouri. Thank you to the following SMBA members who volunteered their time as judges, evaluators and team sponsors: Judge Mark Powell, David Ransin, Jarica Oeltjen, Josh Christensen, Summer Masterson, Dan Lohse, Catherine Reade, Cynthia Black, and Judge Kenneth Thompson.
