Small Christian Community Sign-up

During the Season of Lent, enrich your spiritual journey by participating in a "Small Christian Community," a group of 6-12 fellow parishioners who meet once a week to share scripture and talk about important matters of faith and daily living.

Altar Servers Needed 

If you're in 4th grade or older and would like to become an altar server please join us for a training on Saturday, February 22 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. in the church. Please fill out the availability form and submit it to the parish office
by January 31.

Parenting with Positive Discipline

St. Perpetua School is hosting Parenting with Positive Discipline.

When: Thursday, February 12, from 7:00 - 8:30 PM 

Where: school library

Valentine's Day Seniors Luncheon         

Mark your calendars for the our annual VALENTINE LUNCHEON that especially honors the older members of our parish family.

When: Thursday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m.  

Where: St. Perpetua parish hall

The school children will entertain us, SAGE members will provide a delicious lunch and we will conclude the event with a sing-along. For reservations and information please call Aggie Malanca, 283-4477.

Pasta Feed: Winter Nights Fundraiser

Join us in the hall for a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, February 22, immediately following the 5:00 p.m. Mass. Enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Chef Monica Chappell using one of her family recipes. Entertainment will be provided by Dominant 7, the youth jazz band that played at the carnival. This event benefits the Winter Nights program which has a waiting list this year. Tickets are $15 for adults, $7 for children ages 5-12, children under 4 are free. This is always a sell-out event. To reserve your spot, please send a check made out to St. Perpetua to the parish office, attention Christoph, with a note indicating how many adults and children. Thanks so much!
 

 School News

The week of January 26-31 marks National Catholic Schools Week.  St. Perpetua School will celebrate with many activities for our current students as well as officially begin the enrollment process for the 2014-2015 school year. 

 

Beginning with the 9:30 am Mass on Sunday, January 26, students from the school will take an active roll in the Mass. Following the Mass, the school will hold an Open House from 10:30-noon for all to see many examples of student work in all curricular areas.  At 11:45am, a special informational meeting for those interested in learning more about our Jr. High experience will take place in our Science lab.  

 

On Monday, January 27, we will host school tours at 9:30 am. Wednesday, the 29th, a "New Parent" informational meeting will be conducted in our Kindergarten classroom.   

 

Thursday night, January 30, is our annual Science Night beginning at 6 pm.  All Jr. High Science Fair projects will be on display and there will be a variety of activities for students of all ages.  Friday, the 31st, the student body will gather in faith families to decorate and fill boxes with canned food for the Monument Crisis Center, and students will have the chance to buy a Free Dress Pass with the proceeds to support other Catholic Schools in our diocese.
