Art Walks 2013, Begins June 14
The Downtown Bozeman Association, Downtown Bozeman art galleries, and retailers and the EmersonCenter for Art and Culture are proud to present this summer's Downtown Bozeman ArtWalks. The ArtWalks occur on the 2nd Friday of the month; June through September and again for our "Winter" Art Walk in December from 6 to 8PM in Downtown Bozeman. The businesses and galleries generally feature artists' openings and receptions during the event and often provide complimentary hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. The 2013 Art Walk dates are: June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13 & December 13.

Downtown Partnership's 2013 Award Winners
The Downtown Bozeman Partnership presented three awards at the 8th
Annual Downtown Breakfast held Thursday, May 16, 2013 attendance at the Baxter Hotel.
The awards included the Downtown Cornerstone Award, the Downtown Community Award and the "Life is Downtown" Award. The nominees and recipient for each award were selected by the Downtown Bozeman Association board, Business Improvement District board and Tax Increment Finance board.
The Downtown Cornerstone Award recognizes a business that serves as an anchor to the downtown community not only economically, but socially, culturally and civically. The business has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to downtown by sponsoring downtown events, supporting the member organizations of the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, while being an exemplary business leader. The Downtown Community Award acknowledges a business or organization that has provided exemplary support of downtown Bozeman. This entity recognizes that the city of Bozeman and the entire Gallatin Valley benefits from a thriving downtown, and therefore, they have assisted the Downtown Bozeman Partnership in its efforts to promote and enhance the community's historic core. The "Life is Downtown" Award honors a person who has given a veritable lifetime of service to downtown Bozeman. The recipient has exceeded the expectations of the community in their generous support downtown. This person has devoted considerable time and effort to the betterment of the downtown community by volunteering for special events, serving as a downtown board member, and playing a leadership role in downtown initiatives. Announcing 2013 Music on Main Line-Up
The Downtown Bozeman Association is proud to present the
13th Annual Music on Main summer concert series this summer in Historic Downtown Bozeman.
Music on Main will be located on Main Street from Rouse Avenue to Black Ave. The fun will last from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM on Thursday evenings from June 27 to August 15.
Bring the kids from 6:30 PM to 8 PM for planned activities in front of First Security Bank. Grab a bite to eat from one of our food vendors that will be located along the south side of Main Street east of the Bozeman Avenue intersection, stop by some of our local non-profit booths for information about their great organizations or step into a few of the downtown stores that stay open late!
The line-up is as follows:
- June 27: The Clinton's
- July 4: Andy Frasco
- July 11: The Gettin' Up Early Boys
- July 18: Clumsy Lovers
- July 25: Golden Grenade
- August 1: Dale Watson
- August 8: Ten Foot Tall and 80 Proof
