Resolution to Save Lives In 2013 the Northern Illinois conference resolved to join the global effort to end death and suffering caused by malaria.
Here are some ideas for churches to get involved in the new year: -Set a challenging financial goal. -Educate your community with a month or two month focus on Imagine No Malaria in worship or Sunday school to educate your community. -Hold one fundraiser during 2014 for Imagine No Malaria, for example the Chicago Northwest district youth are holding a dodgeball tournament/fundraiser Feb. 23 3-6pm at Glenview UMC - Or share the story of this amazing ministry and how the United Methodist puts faith into action with one person (not from your church) a month. As you begin to think about how Imagine No Malaria will become an active part of your church and personal life, check out our conference webpage: (www.umcnic.org/imaginenomalaria) facebook (www.facebook.com/nicinm) and twitter (@nic_inm) for updates about what is happening around the conference. Together we can change the world. Let's resolve to do it.
